The session will provide an understanding of how IT organizations are evolving to cope with increasing business demand. The need to have a high-quality IT organization that provides both agility and resilience has never been greater. The modern-day Service Management professional plays a key role in providing a reliable and consistent service and we will explore the characteristics required to represent the IT organization in an effective way.
Service Management frameworks, standards, methodologies, ways of working such as ITIL®, VeriSM™, MISD™ and SIAM® actively encourage hybrid approaches to allow for IT organizations to adopt best practice guidance from several sources and adapt accordingly to best meet the needs of the business. We will provide a high-level view of some of these approaches in order to leave event attendees with an awareness of how these approaches could help with their own individual working and that of the wider organization.
